The UWS Truck Bed Utility Chest adds an upgraded level of security for your cargo with the one-piece, heavy-duty aluminum construction. The tub is welded into one piece, which helps with structural rigidity and weather resistance. The tough aluminum construction helps keep weight down while staying corrosion resistant in all types of weather, even the lock handles are stainless steel. Keep your tools and valuables safe with the high level of security offered by these utility chests. The stainless steel paddle handle and locking system resists corrosion, and the patented rigid core lid adds an extra durable top. The lid utilizes a patented foam core in between two aluminum plates to help prevent bending and warping, thus allowing for a smooth operation. The lid also features a MicroSeal gasket to keep moisture, dust, insects and debris from getting inside. To help make access easier, the lid will open 90 degrees. For convenient use, the struts self-open and close the lid with minor effort on your part. UWS Utility Chests come in multiple sizes to accommodate any of your storage needs. For 55"-62" wide chests, a notched version is available for certain truck applications to allow extra clearance for wheel wells, and for access to your factory tie-down hooks. UWS products are made in the USA with top-notch materials for long lasting use.
