Dampened gas shocks hold the panels in place for smooth opening and closing. For further security, the rear panel has a handle that is easily accessible and lockable. This should give you reassurance knowing that your valuables are safe and secure. A rubber tailgate seal serves as the primary barrier against the weather, and the Dee Zee Guardian’s channel system drains water away from the tonneau surface in addition to making it sturdy.
